Air-Fried Big Mac Taquitos

Ingredients

Big Mac Taquitos:

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 8 flour tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 4 slices American Cheese (I used Kraft Singles)

  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles

  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion

  • 1/4 cup Big Mac secret sauce (see ingredients below)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Cooking spray

Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard

  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease then mix in in the American Cheese until well combined then remove from heat.

  2. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

  3. Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean work surface. Divide the cooked ground beef and cheese evenly among the tortillas.

  4. Tightly roll up each tortilla, starting from the filled side and rolling towards the other end.

  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the taquitos in a single layer in the basket, seam side down, leaving a little space between them and spray the tops with more cooking spray.

  6. Air fry the taquitos in batches, if necessary, for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the taquitos from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.

  8. In a small bowl, add all of the ingredients for the Big Mac Sauce and mix well to combine.

  9. Layer the tops of the taquitos with the lettuce, onion, and pickles, then drizzle the Big Mac Sauce on top.

  10. Serve the air-fried Big Mac taquitos warm with even more Big Mac Sauce on the side.
