Ingredients

  • 1 loaf store bought or homemade focaccia
  • 1/2 cup pesto store bought or homemade
  • 3 oz. package of prosciutto
  • 4 oz. package of Genoa salami
  • 8 oz. mozzarella cheese ball cut into thin slices
  • 1 large tomato cut into thin slices
  • 1 handful arugula

Instructions

  • Keeping the bread flat on a cutting board, turn your serrated knife sideways and slice horizontally through the center of the loaf.
  • Spread pesto on the insides of both halves.
  • Lay the bottom half of the bread onto a pan and begin layering on as much prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, arugula, and tomato as you’d like.
  • Place the top half of the bread onto the sandwich and press down slightly.
  • Heat the pan to medium-hight heat and allow the sandwich to warm to your liking – I heated mine for about 4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the sandwich from heat, cut into as many pieces as you’d like and enjoy!
