Ingredients

  • 6 pack of Hawaiian Hot Dog Buns
  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons dill chopped
  • 2 scallions minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 head Butter lettuce 1 piece for each roll

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
  • Begin by defrosting shrimp if frozen and pat dry then season with garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Chop cooked shrimp into small pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  • To the same bowl, add mayonnaise, rice vinegar, scallions, and dill. Mix well to combine.
  • Spread melted butter onto each Hawaiian roll then toast in the oven for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the rolls from the oven and place a piece of butter lettuce onto each roll followed by about 1/2 cup of the shrimp mixture.
  • Enjoy your shrimp sandwiches as a lunch or an appetizer.
