Ingredients

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and finely diced
  • 3 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • Press a wonton wrapper into each cup of the muffin tin, creating a cup shape. Lightly spray or brush the wrappers with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to make them crispy.
  • Bake the wonton wrappers in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeno peppers, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Once the wonton cups are baked and slightly cooled, carefully remove them from the muffin tin.
  • Spoon the jalapeno popper filling into each wonton cup, filling them nearly to the top.
  • Place the filled wonton cups back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly.
  • Serve your homemade Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups as an appetizer or party snack!
