  • 1/4 cup basil pesto

  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the Pillsbury Crescent Sheets package.

  2. Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Sheets onto a clean surface. Gently press the seams of the dough together to create a single sheet.

  3. Cut the sheet into four equal rectangles. This will be the base for your croissant sandwiches.

  4. Place two slices of prosciutto onto the center of each rectangle, folding it as needed to fit

  5. Lay the slices of fresh mozzarella over the prosciutto.

  6. Spoon a generous amount of basil pesto over the mozzarella layer, spreading it out evenly.

  7. Sprinkle the chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top of the pesto layer.

  8. Starting from one end of the dough, carefully fold it over the filling. Repeat for the other side, creating a sandwich.

  9. Place the croissant sandwiches onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  10. Bake in the preheated oven for the time indicated on the Pillsbury Crescent Sheets package or until the croissants are golden brown and flaky.

  11. Once baked, remove the croissant sandwiches from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  12. Serve the croissant sandwiches warm or at room temperature.
