Creamy White Naan Pizza
Creamy White Naan Pizza
Course: Lunch, Dinner
Ingredients:
For the White Sauce:
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Pizza:
4 pieces of naan bread
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup fresh spinach leaves
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Red pepper flakes (optional, for some heat)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it's fragrant but not browned.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while continuously stirring. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and the cheese is fully melted.
Season the sauce with salt, and black pepper. Stir well and remove it from the heat.
Place the naan bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spoon a generous amount of the white sauce onto each piece of naan bread, spreading it evenly to cover the surface.
Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the white sauce.
Scatter fresh spinach leaves over the pizzas. Optionally, sprinkle red pepper flakes for some added heat.
Place the prepared naan pizzas in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the naan bread are golden brown.
Slice and serve immediately while the pizzas are hot and gooey.
