Peach Margarita Recipe

Ingredients

Yield: 1 Margarita

  • 2 oz. tequila

  • 1/2 oz. peach schnapps

  • 1 fresh peach, diced

  • 1 oz. agave syrup

  • 1/2 lime

  • Tajin seasoning (optional) for rimming the glass and garnish

  • Ice

Instructions

  1. If using Tajin seasoning, spread a small amount on a plate. Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a margarita glass to moisten it.

  2. Dip the moistened rim into the Tajin seasoning to coat the rim with a salty and spicy mixture. Gently tap off any excess seasoning.

  3. In a shaker, add the diced peach and muddle it using a muddler or the back of a spoon. Using a strainer, extract the liquid from the muddled peaches then add the juice back into the shaker.

  4. To the shaker, add the tequila, peach schnapps, agave syrup, and the juice from the lime half. You can adjust the amount of agave syrup depending on your desired level of sweetness.

  5. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.

  6. Pour the mixture from the shaker into the prepared margarita glass, over fresh ice.

  7. Serve and Enjoy!
