Air-Fried Salmon Tacos
Course: Lunch, Dinner
Ingredients:
For the Air Fried Salmon:
1 pound salmon fillets, skinless
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Juice of 1 lime
For the Slaw:
2 cups shredded cabbage (green or purple)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon lime juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
For Assembly:
8 small corn or flour tortillas
Sliced avocado
Salsa or pico de gallo
Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice to create the marinade.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and coat them with the marinade, ensuring an even distribution. Allow them to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped cilantro, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Toss everything together until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Once the salmon has marinated, place the fillets in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is cooking, warm the tortillas according to the package instructions.
Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of air-fried salmon on each tortilla. Top with the slaw, sliced avocado, and a spoonful of salsa or pico de gallo.
Serve the air-fried salmon fish tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
