Everything But The Bagel Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients

Pigs in a Blanket

  • 1 Package Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8oz)

  • 1 Package Hillshire Farms Beef Lit'l Smokies

  • Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

  • 1 Egg

Honey Dijonaisse

  • 1/3 cup Mayonaisse

  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard

  • 4 tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the crescent rolls on a clean surface. Cut the sheet into thin strips, about 1 inch wide.

  3. Place one sausage at the end of each pastry strip. Gently roll the pastry around the sausage until it is fully covered. Repeat this step for all sausages.

  4. Arrange the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small gap between each one.

  5. Brush the tops of the pastry with the beaten egg, ensuring they are evenly coated. This will give the pigs in a blanket a beautiful golden color when baked.

  6. Sprinkle the Everything But The Bagel seasoning blend generously over the pigs in a blanket, making sure to cover them completely.

  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry turns golden brown and puffs up.

  8. Once baked, remove the pigs in a blanket from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. The aroma of the "Everything But The Bagel" seasoning will be irresistible!

  9. To make the Honey Dijonaisse, combine all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well to combine.

  10. Serve your Everything But The Bagel Pigs in a Blanket warm with your Honey Dijonaisse dipping sauce.
