Big Mac Sliders

Ingredients

Big Mac Sliders:

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 6 slices American Cheese (I used Kraft Singles)

  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles

  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion

  • 1/2 cup Big Mac secret sauce (see ingredients below)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard

  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the special Big Mac sauce ingredients – mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the special sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef for 3-4 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula as you go. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Remove skillet from heat.

  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  5. Slice the King's Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected as a single sheet.

  6. Place the bottom half of the King's Hawaiian Rolls onto a baking sheet.

  7. Spread a generous amount of the special sauce over the bottom layer of the rolls.

  8. Layer the ground beef on top of the sauce and cover with the slices of cheese. Bake uncovered for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  9. Remove pan from oven and top with diced pickles, onions, and shredded lettuce.

  10. Place the top half of the King’s Hawaiian Rolls over the fillings and brush the top of the sliders with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.

  11. Serve your sliders as is or cut along the lines of the King's Hawaiian Rolls to create individual sliders.
